Our Practice Safety Precautions

While our practice infection control protocols have always involved the highest level of sterilization and disinfection, we have introduced additional levels of safety. We remain up to date with guidelines set out by College of Dental Surgeons of BC, BC Dental Association and Provincial Health Authority.

Some new changes we have implemented include:

• Installing additional air filtration systems with carbon HEPA filters and UV light to improve the quality of our air
• Improved suction and filtration system throughout the office
• Pre-screening patients for signs or symptoms of COVID-19 before appointments are booked and at confirmation
• Limiting the number of patients and guests in our clinic
• Frequently disinfecting common areas including door handles, clipboards, pens, chairs and bathrooms
• Ensuring all patients and staff are wearing facemask when in common areas

When entering the clinic, we ask that you:

1. Ensure you have completed the COVID-19 screening questionnaire
2. Are not experiencing any symptoms indicating exposure to COVID-19
3. Wear a facemask upon entering the clinic
4. Use the provided hand sanitizer upon entry
5. Enter and exit through the marked doors
6. Stand behind the plexiglass
